Password Change Information

The following instructions are for changing your PPS password yourself. If you have forgotten your password, please use our Help Request form.

1. At the Entry Validation Screen, enter your userID and password:

   USERID: DVXXXXXX
   PASSWORD: Your Password

2. Press Tab

3. To the right of "Change password?" type Y

4. Press Enter

5. At the "Change Password" pop-up screen
   1. Type in the new password on the "Enter new password" line
   2. Press Tab to move to the "Verify new password" line
   3. Type the new password again to verify
   4. Press Enter

• Your password must be 7-8 characters, and include at least one number and one letter
• The only symbol your password may contain is @, you may choose not to include any symbol
• Your password must be different than your login ID
• Passwords are not case sensitive
• You must change your password every 180 days
• The system remembers your last few passwords, so do not re-use your previous password
