The University has implemented a new two-year Staff and Academic Reduction in Time (START) Program to enable non-probationary career staff and academic appointees an opportunity to voluntarily reduce their working time and corresponding pay. Employees in faculty and student academic titles and Postdoctoral Scholars are not eligible for the START Program. The reduction in time and pay will help departments achieve temporary salary savings. The program is in effect from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2010.
Program guidelines and program brochure describing the features of START, including useful questions and answers, are available online at the At Your Service Online (AYSO) website.
