Access
Only authorized users can access PPS. Access is granted based on assigned job duties as listed on the PPS Access/Change Application, a PPS Departmental Organizational Structure Form. (See more information at Obtaining Access.)
Processing
By using function keys and selection criteria, you can move through the screens(s), enter or change information, and submit your changes to the edit and update process. This process checks for errors or inconsistencies. If any are detected, appropriate messages are displayed. You are then given the option to correct the errors or cancel the update.

Reporting
PPS Decision Support (PPS-DS) is the web-based reporting tool that uses the local PPS Data Warehouse. The Payroll/Personnel data from Office of the President is loaded onto a local server where users can query using a tool like Microsoft Access, or the more-popular web-based reports to access the data.
